Well, it's almost here. January 1, 2013. The first day of 2013 where everyone sets new goals, starts new lifestyles, makes big changes and little changes.
Personally, the end of the year is always a nice wrap up for my organized mind. I find it fun to transfer over files, make tweaks, and start completely fresh for a new year. I love it.
As a matter of fact a few nights ago I locked myself in our office and started the "transfer" and then I decided this was the year to get into the color coding I had anticipated for a long term goal when I married my husband. This year I finally had enough supplies saved up to make it happen! It is oh so beautiful.
I am not a big resolution maker I admit. I admire people who do. But, maybe it is because I am constantly setting goals for myself each month, each week, each day. That I don't feel the need to do anything special come January 1st.
However, I know that most of the population does...
This year I would like to challenge my readers to create a resolution of their own that involves learning more about food production.
I would love for consumers to gain more confidence in the grocery store and to feel comfortable no matter what decision they make for their families.
And, to turn over a new leaf I will challenge myself...I hope in the next year I continue to get just as many questions as I get now, and more, from the most important people in a farmer's life- the American consumer!
